Geist’s American & European inspired menu is fresh and changes regularly with regionally sourced ingredients. They have a cool and collected vibe wrapped up neatly in an old brick building in Germantown. Also, 2 words: champagne garden.
We went for dinner and again for brunch with friends (Hi Maria & Brian!) and both times our food was delicious!

Roasted Mushroom Tagliatelle: tarragon, leeks, creme fraiche

Just had to include this. There are sky lights and a chandelier and the combo makes these little rainbows all over the room.
Buttermilk Waffle with Cane Syrup, Butter, & Whipped Cream
Smoked Salmon Benedict: English Muffin, Poached Egg, Hollandaise
Sweet Potato Hash: Roasted Mushrooms, Trinity, Pepitas. Normally, this comes with scrambled eggs but I asked for over easy and this was just perfection. It had such great flavour. I could eat this for breakfast every day
Avocado Toast: Sourdough, feta, piclked red onion, harissa honey The honey made this basic dish not so basic. Loved.
