Silver Lake Ramen: Los Angeles, CA
Food Type-
Ramen!!
Silver Lake Ramen started in LA making traditional ramen with fresh & natural ingredients. The founders are self proclaimed “Noodleholics” with a menu that has options for meat-lovers, vegetarians, and vegans.
I think it’s safe to say I’m a noodleholic myself and Silver Lake Ramen definitely hit the mark.

We stumbled on this place when visiting my friend Olivia in LA. We started at a different restaurant a few blocks away but our waiter seated us and forgot about us. We started walking around the neighborhood and googling “food near me.” A couple blocks away was a cluster of still open restaurants, so we headed that way with the intention of picking whatever looked & smelled the best.
First restaurant in the little square was Silver Lake and there was a staff member right there who welcomed us in, seated us, and already out-served our previous supposed waiter! We loved our food and the staff were so friendly and gave the best recommendations.
What We Ordered
Appetizers
Gyoza, Pork Bun, Crispy Rice w/ Spicy Tuna
GYOZA (GRILLED / FRIED): HAND MADE JUICY PORK DUMPLINGS
We got them fried!
CRISPY CHICKEN KARAAGE: JAPANESE STYLE FRIED CHICKEN AND SPICY AIOLI
PORK BUN: MARINATED PORK BELLY, PICKLED ONION, SESAME AIOLI AND GREEN ONION
CRISPY RICE WITH SPICY TUNA: SPICY TUNA, CRISPY RICE, GUACAMOLE AND EEL SAUCE
Ramen
THE BLAZE - SPICY TONKOTSU: SPICY CREAMY PORK BROTH, BEAN SPROUTS, SPINACH, GREEN ONION, SEAWEED & EGG
It comes with a choice of protein (chicken, tofu, pork). We went with the pork and it was delicious. We also chose to add chili oil for extra spice.
These Ramen bowls are massive. Because we wanted to try so many of the appetizers we decided to split one ramen. This was definitely plenty of food for the two of us.
